Buy Amino Acids & Recovery Supplements Online in Pakistan
Amino acids are the building blocks of protein, and by extension, of every muscle fibre in your body. When you train, you break down muscle tissue, and your body uses amino acids to rebuild it bigger and stronger. The right amino acid supplement supports this process during and after training, speeding up recovery, reducing soreness, and protecting muscle during harder phases like cuts and long training sessions. This hub covers every sub-category, so you can jump to what you need.
Sub-Categories in This Hub
BCAAs: The three branched-chain amino acids (leucine, isoleucine, valine), traditionally the most popular intra-workout supplement.
EAAs: All nine essential amino acids, a more complete and modern approach to intra-workout amino support.
Glutamine: The most abundant amino acid in muscle tissue, supports recovery, gut health, and immune function.
Recovery & Sleep: Night-time recovery formulas often combining ZMA, melatonin, and other sleep and recovery ingredients.

Do You Actually Need Amino Acid Supplements?
Here's the honest answer. If you're hitting 1.6 to 2.2 grams of protein per kg of bodyweight per day from a mix of food and whey protein, you're already consuming far more than enough amino acids to recover and grow. Additional BCAA or EAA supplementation adds relatively little. That said, amino acid drinks still serve real purposes: they're excellent intra-workout hydration, they help when you train fasted, they support longer or more intense training sessions, and they make consuming water during workouts more interesting.
For most recreational lifters, amino acids are optional. For advanced trainees, fasted trainers, and anyone doing long or twice-a-day sessions, they become more valuable.
When to Use Amino Acids
Intra-workout is the classic use case. Mix a scoop in a big bottle of water and sip throughout your training session. The amino acids keep you fed, hydrated, and supported during the workout. EAAs also work well first thing in the morning, particularly if you train fasted, to prevent muscle breakdown while you're in a low-amino state.
BCAAs vs EAAs: Which Is Better?
EAAs are better. They contain all nine essential amino acids (including the three BCAAs plus six others), providing complete support for muscle protein synthesis. BCAAs alone cannot fully trigger muscle growth without the other essentials present. The category shifted from BCAA-dominant to EAA-dominant over the past few years for this reason. That said, BCAAs remain a reasonable choice if you prefer the taste or price point, and many products now combine both.
Frequently Asked Questions
Should I take BCAAs or EAAs?
EAAs are more complete and generally the better choice. Use BCAAs only if you prefer them or find a better-tasting product.
Do I need amino acids if I drink whey protein?
Not strictly. Whey already contains all essential amino acids in high amounts. Aminos are most useful as an intra-workout hydration product rather than an additional source of amino acids.
Can I take amino acids every day?
Yes. Daily use is safe and standard for many lifters.
Do amino acids break my fast?
Technically yes, since they're metabolised. If strict fasting is your goal, skip aminos during the fast. For muscle-preservation during fasted training, they're useful.
Are amino acids good for fat loss?
Indirectly. They help preserve muscle during a calorie deficit, which keeps metabolism higher. For direct fat-loss support, see fat burners.
